Who, What, When, Where, & How Long!?

Well this week we had 2 fairly informative Dr's appointments for the triplet pregnancy. We left our first appointment (the oh sh*t we're having triplets one) with not too many answers or questions; both our OB and ourselves were just in shock.  This week we had an ultrasound along with an NT scan and spoke with a perinatologist.  Babies are growing right on track but not sure if there is 1 or 2 placentas and also found a cyst on my left ovary (11 cm in diameter). *Side note: my right ovary is partially removed from a huge cyst (3 quarts of fluid) I had removed during an emergency surgery when I was 13 and NO we have not done any fertility treatments.  We were hoping for 3 placentas but we are now praying for 2.  If there are 2 placentas than that means 2 babies are sharing (Baby A & Baby B) and that Baby C has its own.  If there is only 1 placenta than all 3 babies are sharing. This tends to have higher risks associated with it but we will deal with it IF we get there.  As for the cyst, we are praying it shrinks over time but worst case scenario I may need surgery while pregnant.  We were a bit confused who our head Dr was? How many placentas (still don't know for sure) there were? Who do we call or where do we go in case of an emergency?  How much weight should I gain? Do I need to double my vitamins? Will I need bed rest? How often will a see a Dr?...and the list goes on.  We learned that our regular OB is our go-to Dr, which we are thankful and ecstatic for.  She was there through our last pregnancy and delivery and knows what our wishes are. The perinatology group will be co-managing with our OB, but our OB & ourselves will make final decisions.

I'm sure I forgot something and my English, typing, grammar, etc isn't the best but I blame it on Mom/Preggo brain, haha. This is me and it is what it is; the last thing I need to stress over is, "who is going to point out my flaws?" I really don't care or have time to worry about that.
